Sarika joined the SEIT Board of Directors in January 2022.

She is an experienced business leader in both public and private sectors and has worked as a senior corporate finance professional at Zeus Caps (a principal investment and advisory platform operating across India, Europe, and the Middle East) and at Grant Thornton.

She is Chair of abrdn Equity Income Trust plc, Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc and Smithson Investment Trust plc.  She is also the Chair of Action for Children.

Sarika is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Marketer. She holds an LLB from the University of Mumbai and an MSc in E-business from the University of the West of Scotland
