Helen joined the SEIT Board of Directors in November 2018.

Helen has served as Chief Executive Officer of Climate Group since March 2017. Climate Group is an international non-profit organisation with a mission to drive climate action, fast. Climate Group builds networks of leading governments and businesses working on issues such as renewable electricity and zero carbon steel, to shape markets and policy.

Helen sits on the board of the We Mean Business Coalition.

Prior to joining Climate Group, Helen founded and founded the US office of Forum for the Future, working with companies including Target, Walmart, Nike, Gap and Levi Strauss & Co. on corporate sustainability. She previously worked for Médecins Sans Frontières on humanitarian missions in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, Pakistan, Burundi and Nigeria.

Helen qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte and holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge and a master’s degree in Business Strategy, Politics & the Environment from Birkbeck, University of London.

In 2022, she was awarded an OBE for services to climate.
